last minute shoppers

If a store in a mall has one door closed, one of the workers counting the money in the cash register and the other fervently straightening the piles of clothing, DO NOT come in the store to "browse" for a few minutes.

While browsing, you will most likely mess up the piles of clothing, cause the workers to stay later than planned (messing up payroll numbers) and wreck what would otherwise have been a successful closing shift.


So, if a store closes at 8:30, and at 8:28 you suddenly get an urge to browse....don't.

Unless you have a specific item you are going to run in and quickly purchase, go away.
